Thanks Trini Altea!
I saw this Flower Bread in a Croatian website (http://www.minjina-kuhinjica.com/testo-testenine/pogaca-i-proja/pogaca-cvet/). I have translated this recipe, and I put in brackets the changes I have made.....

Flower Bread (in brackets is what I used instead of the original recipe)

700 g flour
250 ml milk
125 ml oil (100 ml of olive oil)
2 eggs
1 cube of fresh yeast (10 grams instant yeast )
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 teaspoons of salt

To arrange the bread
100 grams of melted margarine (100 grams of butter)
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of milk
Seeds to garnish

Warm the milk with the sugar, add the yeast and let it foam (about 6 minutes). Add the rest of ingredients, and kneads the dough until is smooth. Place it in a grease bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.

Knead the dough again, divide it in half. Take one half, and divide it two pieces (2/3 and 1/3). Divide the bigger piece of dough in 5 equal parts. Roll each one into a circle, and stick them with melted butter. The last piece has to be wider in order to cover the edges.

Place these circles in a greased and floured pan oven proof. With a sharp knife, make eight cuts in the center cut the eight pieces. You have to leave at least 1 cm to the edge of the bread. Carefully, with a tip of a knife, lift each cut section towards the edge of the bread.

Repeat the same procedure with the piece that is the 2/3 of the remaining dough. In order to have a nice display of the petals, make sure to make the eight cuts between the cuts of the external dough.

With the last portion of the dough, make a ball and place it in the middle.

Brush the bread with a mix of egg yolk and milk. Sprinkle with the seeds of your choice.

Put it in a preheated oven at 225 ° C. After 10 minutes, cover the bread with parchment paper, and reduce it to 180 °C; bake it for another 25 minutes or until fully cooked. . Remove the paper, and bake it for another 6 minutes......ENJOY!!
